Butt Hinge

Butt hinges are found on doors and are made up of two matching leaves. One of the leaves is attached to a fixed element like a door jamb, with a other being attached to a moving element like a door. In the United States, cabinets have traditionally featured butt hinges but in recent years other types of hinges have also risen in popularity.
